Kony 2012….Who is it? What is it?

Kony 2012 was an campaign in order to bring attention to Joseph Kony, a war criminal who abducts children and uses them as child sex slaves and child soldiers. Kony is the leader of the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) and is located in Uganda. This experiment was done to see if the world would act against this monster if the word was spread around enough. The founders of Kony 2012 created a video, Invisible Children, which became the fastest growing viral video of all time with 3.7 million people pledged their support to capture him. Though the support was successful, the act of capturing him was a failure. This should not mean we give up, those children are still out there with their guns and grenades, and need to be saved. Many has attempted to track him down to capture him and release all those innocent children but so far, none have prevailed…
